Château de Pibarnon
> Bandol 2010 rouge
The favorite wine. The fine, velvety tannins of a Bandol.
The vineyards of Château de Pibarnon overlook the Bandol valley, not far from the sea forming a vast amphitheatre sheltered from the mistral.
The high altitude of the vineyards and the cool nights allow the grapes to ripen slowly. The limestone soil allows the extraction of fine, elegant tannins and brings freshness and minerality like a beautiful 2010 Bandol with 90% Mourvedre and a sunny yet balanced character that has a deep, beautiful, aromatic array of fruit and spices. On the palate it shows great quality velvety tannins.
To be served with tasty red meat or pigeon.
